Boutique Homes showcases the design potential of Hebel

Creating external walls that are aesthetically pleasing as well as functional can be a challenge for any home designer.

But with the help of Hebel, this is exactly what Boutique Homes is achieving for its many clients throughout Melbourne and surrounding areas.

Established in Melbourne about 12 years ago, and part of the ABN Group for the past 10 years, Boutique designs and builds about 700 homes per year in the city’s north, south, east and western suburbs, as well as in Geelong and areas of the Surf Coast.

And each year a growing number of Boutique’s clients are choosing the Hebel PowerPanelXL external wall system for their homes, with some two-storey home owners also opting for the Hebel PowerFloor for their first floor level.

Senior designer Rob Nguyen, who has worked with Boutique Homes for seven years, said clients were becoming increasingly aware of Hebel’s ability to provide their homes with a fully rendered appearance.

There are also other benefits to the Hebel PowerPanelXL external wall system that appeal to the Boutique team.

“As well as its thermal and acoustic benefits, clients like the smooth, finished look that Hebel provides,” Rob said.

Greater colour choice with Hebel

From the designer point of view, increased freedom of colour choice is another strong reason for selecting Hebel for external use on homes.

“Having a fully rendered Hebel façade allows people to choose any colour they want,” explained Rob.

The design possibilities and benefits of Hebel’s PowerPanelXL external wall system are currently on show at Boutique display homes including Catalina at Armstrong in Mount Duneed and Riva at Highlands in Craigieburn, with another soon to be completed at Edgebrook in Clyde North.

Hebel speeds up construction time

In addition to individual home buyers having the option of choosing Hebel for external walls, Boutique Homes install Hebel facades on all the two-storey medium density housing they build in various areas of Melbourne.

“We’re happy with the use of Hebel on these buildings,” said Rob. “Along with its other benefits, it speeds up the construction process. A Hebel installer can come on site and do the work quickly. And because we use Hebel on the townhouses we build, we can choose a colour that is contemporary while still keeping the price down.”

Boutique now offers PowerFloor system

As well as using Hebel externally, Boutique Homes is now also offering the Hebel PowerFloor system for the first floors of two-storey homes.

“We’ve found the PowerFloor is really solid, and has such good sound insulation benefits that we now include it in a design where we have the main living areas on the first floor and the sleeping areas on the ground floor,” said Rob.

In addition to its extensive range of home designs with pre-designed options to suit various requirements and lifestyles, Boutique also offers house and land packages and knockdown/rebuild solutions for clients. Checkout Boutique’s website to view a complete range of beautiful Hebel homes.
