Hebel PowerFloor structural floor panels are ideal for first floors and suspended ground floors, decks, and balconies as well as wet areas like bathrooms and laundries . They provide an excellent base for most floor coverings including attractive engineered timber, hardwood, and vinyl flooring as well as carpet and floor tiles.
PowerFloor keeps houses warm in winter and cooler in summer. It also minimises noise transference between the floors of the house. PowerFloor is a sound investment in home-comfort. As a result, Hebel PowerFloor is a great choice for two storey “reverse living” coastal homes. This is where living areas and kitchens are on the top floor, to capture views, breeze and natural light, and bedrooms are on the ground floor.

Technical information
Hebel PowerFloor is a high-performance subfloor solution. The 75mm thick Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) panels are installed over joists in a similar way to tongue and groove cement sheet and particleboard flooring. However, they are more solid under foot and feel more like a concrete slab floor.
The AAC floor panels are almost four times thicker than conventional 19mm structural flooring. This makes Hebel PowerFloor squeak-free and provides high-performance acoustic and thermal insulation properties.
PowerFloor is simple to install. Carpenters can have the floor ready for finishes within 24 hours. Trades can also avoid weather delays since PowerFloor installation is not affected by wet or damp conditions.
The Hebel PowerFloor panels are non-combustible. The system has a Fire Resistance Level (FRL) of 90/90/90 minutes for a fire source above the floor.
